Listed for sale is a circa 1954 production Herman Miller LCM (Lounge Chair with Metal Legs), designed by Ray and Charles Eames. This was one of the earliest designs by the Eames,' after exploring molded plywood for the war effort in the early 1940s. This example was specified in walnut and can be dated in particular because of the slip-on boot glides, which were used circa 1953-1955. The chair is overall in very good to excellent vintage condition. It appears that the shock mounts on the back may have been professionally redone at one time.
